My research is mainly on animal distribution and includes: 1. Mapping the distribution of the white stork, corncrake, amphibians in the Csík basin 2. Research on the breeding phenology of the common frog and the moor frog in the Csík basin and the spring migration of the common frog 3. Study of the distribution and ecology of large branchiopods in the Csík basin 4. The paleoecology of temporary ponds I work with the Riehen Association oin the field of environmental education. In a three-years project called "Camp Pond" we introduced children from Csíkszereda and the surrounding villages to the life of ponds. For five years we organized "Nature discovery camps" in the Hargita mountains and  dayly trips to nature reserves and other interesting natural sites.
